Her new cut and style came courtesy of L’Oreal’s consulting hair expert Mara Roszak.
She explained, “I started by applying L’Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It High Lift Creation Spray to wet hair and rough-dried. I set the top with Velcro rollers for added height. Once the hair was dry, I waved it with a 1 1/4″ iron toward the face and away from the face rotating sections. To finish the look, I sprayed L’Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle TXT It Tousle Wave Spray all over the hair and rough-dried it in for added texture and movement.”
Her makeup was by Rachel Goodwin, who posted this preview of the products used on her Instagram feed:
What she said she told me about the process:
“Emma is always willing to play with color. We really went for 1970s glamour but with a modernized look.”
And as for how she made her lips look extra full, she explained: “It really was about outlining the lips and filling in with the balm stain and lip gloss. Lip gloss isn’t meant to last so it is important to have a stain that will pop all night. Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain (in Adore) is great for this. First apply Chanel Aqua Crayon Lip Colour Stick in Rosewood to outline the lips.”
Other products she used:
Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Natural, Cream Blush in Flushed, Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Raisin Rage, and ColorStay Eye Liner in Black Brown, as well as Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Lotus and Taupe Grise and Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation.
